PROGRAM IDEA:
The idea behind the THEME- ONE CHILD MATTERS is to bring to our consciousness that every day one child is orphaned for reasons beyond his/her reach, one orphaned child is sick without care, one orphaned child go to bed hungry, one orphaned child is exposed and scared, one orphaned child is neglected and uncared for and one orphaned child needs you and I to realise his/her lost dream. Remember that every child has a story, a dream. Each deserves to be thought of no differently than your child, your friend’s child, or a child you may happen to pass on the street. To revive lost hopes and dreams, Mashiah Foundation is organizing a three days program that will seek to redefine the mind-set of the orphaned child, rejuvenate his/her lost dreams and restore hope for a defined future.
Mashiah Foundation shall for this course engage fifty (50) orphans for a three (3) day camp program from 30thAugust – 1th September, 2019 where in collaboration with other experts from different fields of endeavour will actively engage every child in activities that include; trauma healing, life skill development, music, comedy, dance, drama, art and basic vocational skill acquisition.
