Who We Are Mashiah Foundation has discovered that many youths are jobless and aimless. Because of this, many find themselves in trouble as they make poor choices. The term ‘youth’ in Nigeria applies mainly to people who are not married. (Many Nigerian men don’t marry until they are at least 30 years old.) The Youth Ministry Leadership program was established in 2002 in order to provide a space for the development of young people, especially those who have completed high school and are not yet in higher institutions. This program aims to fill the gap as youth await future training and careers. Currently, the leadership program is divided into computer training and discipleship segments. The discipleship section includes Bible studies, values, personal growth and ministry guidance in encouraging youth to become agents of change within their homes, their communities and their country. The computer training section equips young people with IT tools for their capacity building, future education and employment opportunities.
