Volunteers

My desire to be a volunteer with Mashiah sprouted from the training I received here. After completing my computer training, giving back the practice learnt became necessary. Even though I faced several challenges with my fears, shyness and age difference as an obstacle to teach others, I’ve learned so much from it. What inspired me was the need to see myself as an advocate, because I feel I have that gift with people.
My advice is don’t mind what others think about you; believe in what you are doing and believe in yourself. I want to thank Mashiah and Pastor Bayo, because they have helped the youths by providing them with skills and opportunities. After the CISCO training, you can even initiate your business!

I chose to volunteer with Mashiah due to my trust and admiration for the organization’s labour. I think of Mashiah as the home of hope for the hopeless. Its ways, its role of hospitality to humanity is a perspective that goes a long way, definitely changing the world into a better place.
I started volunteering because I believe God has endowed me with some talent and qualities that people need. So, I am working in this organization in order to give back and share from what I have received. My experience as a volunteer has been in the area of relationships. I strongly believe that there are people out there in the world that need you, need me, and need Mashiah; let’s work as a team to inspire the world and move things to greater heights!
